Running Man: Privately Owned by Hollywood Movie Actor Yaphet Kotto and his Filipina wife Tessie Sinahon Kotto. The Resort was established in late 2002 and partially opened in Nov.15,2003.It became popular overnight by word of mouth in the community and all over the Philippines.Appropriately named after the Movie Yaphet Kotto starred in "Running Man"with Arnold Schwarzenneger. The Running Man Resort has become very popular both locally and even internationally,inspiring a number of imitators in the area to copy the famous Resort, but the Running Man Resort is more than just a vacation spot, the establishment has Helped many families living in extreme Poverty in the Mountain of Hinunangan & other Barangays, Kotto and his wife have feed a lot of people for free and was the first to come to the aide of the Victims of the Landslide in Guinsaugon Saint Bernard Southern Leyte without hesitation.The Running Man Resort Sponsored the Whole of the Activities of the Tahusan Festival,a first in the History of Hinunangan.
