About Me

Running Man: Movie Actor Yaphet Kotto and his Filipina wife Tess S. Kotto established a beach resort in late 2002 appropriately named the Running Man after the Movie which Kotto starred in with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Resort partially opened in Nov.15,2003 and became instantly popular locally overnight in the community and all over the Philippines and even internationally, inspiring a number of imitators in the area to copy the famous Resort, but the Running Man Resort is more than just a vacation spot, the establishment has Helped many families living in extreme Poverty in Leyte, Mr.Kotto and his wife have fed a lot of people for free and was the first to come to the aide of the Victims of the Landslide in Guinsaugon Saint Bernard Southern Leyte. The Kottos Sponsored the Entire festive Activities of the Tahusan Fiesta, a first time in the History of Hinunangan, and as a bonus to the Brgy.Captain's Office the couple put new Tiles n the floor and purchased an Air conditioned for that office. It was the first time anyone has shown such generosity in the peaceful Southern Leyte Community.
